Two high school students are signing at a concert.

Fond du Lac School District
District Choral Extravaganza

The Fond du Lac School District is a bi-annual choral festival featuring the choirs from every school in the district. Held in the FHS Fieldhouse, this festival brings together nearly 800-1,000 singers and 2,000-3,000 audience members. This event unites our student voices in collaboration and community.  It fosters inclusivity, showcases talent, and builds connections, inspiring a shared love for music across all ages. It empowers students to learn from one another, building lasting connections, contributing to something larger than themselves.

Our Choral Extravaganza also features an Artist in Residency program where we bring in a nationally recognized choral conductor to work with and inspire our singers.  For 2025, we will be bringing in Dr. Zachary Durlam from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee.  The two days leading up to the festival, Dr. Durlam works with all of our students in choral workshops. Then the day of the festival, we combined all grades together for an inspirational day of choral music.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the concert on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 4 to 5p at the Fond du Lac High School Fieldhouse.
