The Fond du Lac Community Education and Recreation Department operates within the Fond du Lac School District. The Department has existed since 1926 providing recreation and leisure services to the residents of the Fond du Lac School District and the surrounding area. Year-round, the Community Ed and Rec Department offers a wide variety of adult and youth sports, instructional, aquatic and fitness programs for all ages. The Community Ed and Rec Department utilizes seasonal publications to inform the public of the activities taking place within the community.

he Fond du Lac Community Aquatic Center is located at 100 W. 9th Street, adjacent to the Fond du Lac School District Administration Center. The Aquatic Center is open to the public six days a week for a variety of activities that include swim lessons, open swim, water wellness classes and swim team practices and meets.
